Connect How did your love story begin?

After months of intentionally being single and loving my life, I decided I was ready to find someone to share it with. I made myself one promise: just one swipe on Hinge, and only if I was 100% certain he was my kind of person. Michael got the swipe. He had reached a place where he was ready to love again, too. We met on Zoom, talked for hours, and somehow we both knew. We didn't just fall in love. We came home.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Driving home from our first getaway together, Michael was thinking about an idea. Before he could say a word, I blurted out, "That's a great idea!" He looked at me, stunned. I had just spoken the exact thought in his head. We still laugh about it, but moments like that keep happening. We finish each other's sentences, think the same thoughts, and often know what the other is feeling without a word. We joke that we don't just share a life. We share a brain.

What would you do with $20,000?

We'd split it in half. We'd donate $10,000 to Tony's Kitchen to help fight food insecurity in our community. The other $10,000 would fund our next Wild Yes adventure, exploring new places, meeting extraordinary people, and creating memories together. We believe the best life is one that's both generous and fully lived, and the best love is one that expands beyond the two people in it. This prize would let us do both.
