How did your love story begin?

We were connected through friends and family for more than 30 years, yet somehow never knew the other existed. When we finally met, there was an immediate sense of comfort and familiarity, as if we were picking up a conversation that had been waiting decades to happen. What began as a simple (albeit amazing) first date quickly turned into something much deeper. The more we learned about each other, the more it felt like timing - not chance - had finally brought us together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It's hard to choose just one, but our Valentine's getaway stands out. We spent the weekend slowing down and simply enjoying each other's company - holding hands, exploring gardens, getting caught in the rain, taking afternoon naps, cooking together, and talking for hours. There was nothing extravagant about it, yet it perfectly captured what makes our relationship special. The best moments aren't always the big ones; they're the quiet moments where we feel most at home with each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

We'd donate half of it to our local dog shelter. Animals hold special place in our hearts, and being able to help out would mean a lot to us. With the rest, we'd create memories. A trip somewhere we've always dreamed of visiting, some weekends on the water with our boat, and tuck away the rest for our future together. At the end of the day, money itself isn't important. The opportunity to help our community, and then spend more time together is what we value most.
