Connect How did your love story begin?

We met doing a show. I was 23 and Jules was 27. We became friends during rehearsals and were constantly making each other laugh and really enjoying each other’s company… but as friends. I decided one night to kind of lay it all out there and say “Listen, I really think you’re great. If you ever feel like you’d wanna go on a date or share a sunset or something, I sure would like to be that guy”. About a week later she agreed and we’ve been together ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have been so blessed with countless incredible moments. As an actor and a yoga teacher, we’ve gotten to visit some fantastic places around the world with such wonderful people. But it’s the day to day memories that stick out. The sitting across from each other at the breakfast table. The long walks around our neighborhood. Figuring out life together. Celebrating each other’s wins and comforting each other during the tough times. That’s what keeps us going.

What would you do with $20,000?

Next year is our 25th wedding anniversary. Over the last three decades, we’ve made such a community here in NYC and around the world. So many kind, beautiful people that we would’ve loved to have at our wedding. So, I think we would throw a 25th wedding anniversary celebration and just invite everyone we’ve gotten to know and love. I think our story is inspiring and it would be amazing to celebrate that with the people we love.
