We were 26 and 27 when we met. He was a friend of my sister's that I had never met before. He actually knew me though, and apparently he had a crush on me. She was having a BBQ at the lake and we were both there. I remember being so intrigued by him. His tattoos, the way he walked, his laugh, his humor, and his "tough guy" appearance. We were all in the lake and he was on a big float. I grabbed ahold of his foot to keep afloat and it was like a bolt of electricity ran through us. And here we are

Our trips together to Cancun! When we are there, it's just us in our own world. We love to get dressed up for dinner and show off. Lol. On one of our anniversaries we had dinner on the beach. We slow danced and he serenaded me with "wicked game." We cried tears of joy for each other's love. It was so romantic to be by the candlelight with the waves gently crashing.

We would take our 3 sons and 5 grandkids to Cancun! I would love for them all to experience the beauty of this special place. We would Snorkel and go to the Mayan ruins. They are our everything, and we would love to give them an experience of their lives. After the trip, we would save the rest for our Mexico fund for when we retire there.
