We each were spending the summer in our college town. I had been working as a waitress at Cracker Barrel for 3 years and he got a job there. He initially took my sarcasm as being one of the mean girls, but soon found that wasn't true. I invited him to my 4th of July party and immediately following he got fired! I thought that was the end, but he showed up to the party and we were inseparable the rest of the summer, engaged by November and married the following June.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are genuinely so many: our wedding, the birth of our children, vacations. But the best is our 20th anniversary trip to Italy. We had put that dream vacation off for years, but after covid, we knew more fully how short time was. So we did it and it was an incredible 3 weeks experiencing the world together for the first time. Getting lost in the hills of Sorento, visiting the village in Palermo that my family is from, exploring beautiful architecture and history. We'll never forget it!
What would you do with $20,000?It's a boring response, but we'd pay off debt so we could have more day to day financial freedom. And maybe put some aside for our next adventure together. We love exploring the world together!
