How did your love story begin?

We met at work and became friends fast. We had no intention for anything to go further but it just flowed naturally like we had known each other for years. Cliché, I know. I had plans to move away and he was one of the few cheering me on, excited for me to start a new chapter. He even joked around and said he would move with me and we could be roommates. At this point, we had both moved around so much that we were always ready to start somewhere new and this time we were doing it together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I’d have to say our first date, or more so how he got me to go on a date with him is one of our favorites. He asked me out to a reggae concert but I had some personal things going on so I told him no. I really did not want to say no so I secretly hoped that he would ask again and if he did, I told myself I’d say yes. Sure enough, he asked again the very next day and I just had to say yes. It wasn’t so much fate as it was strategic but still. Shout to J Boog for performing two days in a row!

What would you do with $20,000?

Oh man, 20k would be an incredible addition to savings for our kids. We have 1 big (with 1 of her own on the way) and 2 littles. Also, our little ones want to be outside all the time and explore which is why we have even thought about a road trip through all the national parks and/or give RV/Van life a shot. Or it could just be the jumpstart needed to move wherever we want that fits our family’s needs to thrive.
