We met at a local animal shelter. She worked there and I was volunteering. Within a few months we were dating and haven’t looked back since.

I was a volunteer at my local animal shelter. she got the job as the new events coordinator at the shelter. I walked in to grab the stuff for the event and she was still getting all the things around. I asked if she was the new Alex (previous event coordinator) and she said yep. As she tells the story though, it was love at first sight for her. I guess I took a little while to figure out there was some spark there. Which I’m regularly reminded of.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?To many! We often find ourselves crying from laughter. I think all our memories are fun. From the lazy days to the roadtrips and vacations. We just have fun with whatever we’re doing. Our personalities are very similar so the jokes and laughs are always there. Since i have to pick 1 though. I’d say our roadtrip to Boston with my daughter was a blast. We had so much fun at every stop. Got to see a ton of scenery and experience new places. I proposed to her on that trip as well.
What would you do with $20,000?Probably recoup some wedding costs, pay off some debt or put it towards some home repairs/upgrades. I usually donate or buy supplies for the shelter when there’s some extra money so I’m sure we’d get a lot from the Amazon list the shelter has.
