A Widow & a Divorcé walk into a bar… we are honest, we laugh, we listen & we live each day like it’s our last. Because it could be. Trust me
We would like to thank you for supporting Jordan & Amanda in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We attended church together with our then families and knew each other in passing. After my husband died, and he separated from his wife, we ran into each other at a hibachi place. I was on a bad date and he had been stood up. He came over and talked to me, while my date was on his phone at the table and we met for drinks the next day. We have been inseparable since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Visiting the Pinecone Airbnb in California! We had been dating a few months, (2maybe) and he was turning 40 and said he always wanted to stay in a treehouse. So I found and booked this one. He is an arborist and I’m afraid of heights! We visited the local winery, hung out on the beach and watched surfers, hiked up a cliff side, ate some Italian food and brought cherries and wine to the treehouse. He had never had cherries before. We saw banana slugs and enjoyed the time away.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put it towards the house for our combined 6 kids! We have both lived a busy life and really want to relax and enjoy the country and the back half of our lives.
