How did your love story begin?

Across the street from where I lived. I always saw these people around my age coming and going from this house. But I was too shy to go over there. So my friend went over and we ended up hanging out there. I saw this beautiful girl but thought no way she can be single and no way she would like me. Alcohol courage can do a lot! This really was love at first sight. We both fell for each other hard. And we spent almost every second together that first summer! ( still is the Summer of my life)

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I have way too many memories to pick just one. I do t know if it was the Beth of our 7 children, wedding, vacations, or growing up and learning the lessons of parenting along with her. One that comes to mind is when I got home from Fallujah, Iraq (04-05) To see her and my two infant daughters was an indescribable and emotional feeling! She was my reason to make it home. Her love always motivated me to be the best Marine I could be. There were other times apart but that first one seemed special

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, I didn’t know the winners get that. I just wanted to get our real life love story out there, because she deserves recognition for her unwavering love to me and her children. But if we got that money. We would most likely pay off the bills that are always behind and get her urgent dental work that she needs done. with any left over I would spend on her and our children to spoil them with a night out at a fancy restaurant. Anything left it would go to her for nails or hair. 😆
