Over 33 years our love has grown since we first met in sixth grade, two kids in a small Ohio town who instantly connected. We dated through high school and married in 2002 while raising our first child and juggling college.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We grew up in a small Ohio town and became friends the moment we met. When our eyes connected in the sixth‑grade hallway—her showing photos to friends, me walking by—something clicked. We didn’t know what it meant, only that we wanted to know each other. That spark became friendship, then something deeper. We stayed close through middle school, and by high school, we were officially dating.
What would you do with $20,000?A honeymoon would mean the world to us. For years, we’ve dreamed of finally having the time and resources to take a trip just for us. We’ve never had a vacation without the kids, and our lives have been devoted to raising them. What we want is simple: holding hands at sunset, laughing over dinner, and sharing quiet moments we’ve waited for all our lives.
