Love at 1st sight. I was a regular at a taqueria and had long hair and was much heavier than I am normally. I remember first seeing her there and when our eyes first met I told my friends I’m going to marry her. After seeing her several times, I decided to teach myself Spanish. I also lost 80lbs in 2 months and after cutting my hair she still recognized me. I wrote her a note in Spanish and she texted me. We got a place together a few months later and married a couple years later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My wife has a daughter (10) and I’ve been her dad since she was 3. They are from Guatemala, and being able to give them life experiences from their dreams is humbling. On our 1st wedding anniversary, we drove from KC to LA. We went to Disney Land one day and seeing the joy on my wife and daughter’s faces is my favorite memory. Making their dreams come true since they’re my dream.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use this money to pay off some debt. I used to deliver beer for a local distributor until I destroyed my shoulder while delivering kegs. All our plans for the future and house hunting came to a halt while I fought legal battles for a year to get the surgery I needed. I didn’t get compensated well enough and have been playing catch up since. Winning this would change our lives and get us back to planning our future instead of slowly recovering financially from being injured for a year.
