John and I met at 16 & 17, have been together ever since, and recently got engaged in Saint Lucia. We can’t wait to say “I do”!

Our love story started like a modern-day romance. John slid into my Instagram DMs! We went to different high schools but grew up with the same group of friends. Every summer and weekend was spent together making memories, going on adventures, and experiencing so many of life’s firsts side by side. What started as friendship turned into the love of our lives, and now, after almost 9 years together, we’re excited to spend forever together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Other than our proposal in Saint Lucia, my favorite memory was an anniversary when John flew me in a Cessna plane while he was a student pilot. We soared over Melbourne Beach before landing at a small airport for a riverside dinner of fresh fish and ice cream. At the end of the night, he surprised me with a promise ring and promised that once he finished flight school, an engagement would follow. He kept that promise.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 toward the down payment on our first home. After our wedding, we hope to start a family, and owning a home would give us the perfect place to begin that next chapter.
