Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on Facebook Dating... kind of! I thought John had liked my profile, but it turned out Facebook had just suggested him. I messaged him first, then realized he hadn't actually liked me and frantically tried to unsend my messages—but he replied before I could! We still laugh about how I accidentally "stalked" all of his social media pages before we even had our first date. Turns out, one mistaken click led to the love of our lives! Love after 40 is amazing!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It's impossible to pick just one! Our New Orleans wedding, complete with a traditional Second Line parade, was unforgettable. Our honeymoon cruise was just as memorable—we somehow became "ship famous" after our hilarious game show answers had strangers quoting us all week! But watching my husband achieve his 15-year dream of opening his own business and seeing the joy on his face is a memory I'll cherish forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 would help us build the future we've been dreaming about. We'd donate to charities that support homeless families and sick children, invest in opening my own business, pay down debt, and finally take a memorable family vacation. I'd also put money toward starting my PhD program so I can continue growing personally and professionally while creating a lasting legacy for my family.
