I (M) walked into my junior year, honors English class and sat behind a quiet, brooding guy (J) I had seen around the high school campus. He didn’t speak or make eye contact when I passed and sat directly behind him. I was talking with my friend next to me when I decided to introduce myself. I leaned forward and tapped him on the shoulder. He glanced back over his shoulder in my direction. I announced, “You might as well talk to me. I’m going to be sitting behind you all year!” He just laughed.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many and some that we cannot share. But the one that is meaningful to us both would be our actual wedding. It was such a long journey to arrive at that point, that it was a bit surreal. We had found and lost each other so many teams. It was unbelievable to finally, permanently make our vows to one another. It was and is still such a blessing.
What would you do with $20,000?I am a teacher and John is an electrician. We have three kids in college and one starting middle school. We would use the money to ensure their future education, whether it be college or technical school.
