We were friends at work who could relate to each other having children around the same age. I was coming out of an abusive marriage, and he had just come out of a relationship where he felt he wasn’t good enough for her family. Our friendship bloomed into more. We had so much in common and met each other in a place of pain. We have become each other’s soft place to land while raising 4 children, and it has been the best decision either of us have ever made. I am his comfort and he his my peace.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many memories and have been through so many trials in our time together. Our favorite moments together are the quiet ones. An easy dinner and walking around, or quick tattoos and then dinner and drinks. We like to slow down and enjoy our time together. With 4 kids we don’t get a lot of that! Looking forward to our first mini vacation alone in July 2026
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would plan a destination wedding for our immediate family and plan for our children’s futures and college. If there is anything left, we would invest in some property and a business for us to run as a family.
