We met as young children, found each other again in 1997, married and we have a very comfortable, content, loving union based on our faith.

When we re-met in 1997, we were in our late 40s, struggling with divorces. He was traveling 2 hrs one way most Sundays to come back to the church he and I were raised in. The mother of a former classmate of ours walked him over to me and reintroduced us after 28 years. He came to my house after church, to talk. After that day, we'd take turns (4hrs drive) to see each other on weekends. When his divorce became final, he proposed to me and I excitedly said yes. Best decision we have ever made.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first date. I knew he was very short on $$ but he took me to a nice restaurant and we enjoyed our time. When we left to go home, he told me to get in the driver's seat so he could push the car out of the parking spot. The car had no reverse. We did it, laughing together. He was so afraid I'd dump him. Guess what? He was so wrong. Lol
What would you do with $20,000?I want so badly to go back to my homeland , the Netherlands, and show him and our grandson where I came from, meet my cousins, tour certain favorite places of mine and see if we can find info on his family that immigrated from there as well. 🇱🇺✈️🌷 And of course, pay off some bills.😂
