Connect How did your love story begin?

Most couples start with dinner and a movie. We started with Facebook, a cemetery at night, and a man who impulse-bought a telescope on the way to our first date. We spent the evening ghost hunting, then laid under the stars talking for hours. Against all odds, neither of us was murdered by a ghost, and we fell in love instead. Turns out our happily ever after began in a cemetery. ❤️

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I was having a terrible day at work when my husband decided the only reasonable solution was to fly me to Florida. He showed up with plane tickets and a bag, and whisked me away from reality. The next thing I knew, we were cruising around the island in a golf cart, collecting daiquiris like souvenirs, and laughing until our faces hurt. What started as my worst day quickly became one of our favorite adventures together.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were lucky enough to have $20,000, the first thing we’d do is take a deep breath and catch up on bills so we can finally feel caught up instead of stressed. Then we’d do something we’ve always dreamed of—go on our honeymoon and actually enjoy it without worrying about every dollar. A little responsibility, a lot of love, and finally celebrating us the way we always imagined.
