We knew we were soul mates from day one. In 1 year we built a school bus into a home & now travel the country while working side by side!
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We got matched by Shauna's younger sister! She worked with Joe, thought we'd be cute together and got us in contact. Later on, Joe and Shauna decided to meet and hike a mountain in Pennsylvania for their first date. A few weeks later, they kissed. Three months later, they moved into an apartment together. They worked paycheck to paycheck to build their school bus into a tiny home. A year later, they officially moved in. A small space for them and their two cats, but they are beyond happy!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory we shared was when we traveled across the country from Virginia to Oregon in two weeks. It wasn't always easy and broke down twice, but it showed our resilience and perserverance to follow our dreams. We arrived to Oregon with tears of happiness in our eyes, and some incredible memories spent together. We still live here in Oregon today 😊
What would you do with $20,000?The next big step in our journey would be to buy land, and build our new house/cabin by hand. Our dream is to live sustainably among the land, have some animals, and build a self-sustaining homestead. Our own little heaven on earth! Once we are settled, we look forward to getting married and having some kids.
