Connect How did your love story begin?

It all began with the Ren Faire and a dog, in the perfect friends to lovers trope. We spent more and more time together after working at the Ren Faire, making my excuse of wanting to see his dog, Kano. We ended up becoming a couple the following summer and since then we've earned our undergraduate degrees, moved into a home, adopted our own dog, gone through sickness, and been on countless adventures together. Now we're on our latest adventure of planning our perfect wedding and future together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We're so blessed to have had the opportunity to live so much life together already that picking a favorite memory is really hard. How do you pick?! A memory that comes to mind (if we have to pick) is when we adopted our dog, Remi. He had been in a foster home for 2 years, adopted twice and returned. We were his 3rd adoption attempt, and when we met him, he immediately chose us, rolling over begging for belly rubs and major zoomies across the lawn. He was a major "next step" in our relationship.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won, we would spend the $20,000 on our wedding and walk into our marriage debt free. Without the weight of wedding debt, we plan to go on our honeymoon in New Zealand with an extended layover in Tokyo.
