We met online through a chat site called Tagged in 2006. We were both shy but through conversations over the following months we developed a deep caring relationship. Being 2000 miles apart proved to be a bit of a downer for any real serious relationship. It would take another 10 years and a move west for me to Nevada, before we were able to finally meet in person. We have been inseparable since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many special memories we've created over the short time we've actually been together. But if I were to choose just one, it was the night I drove us 3 hours from home out into the desert just so Shelby could see the stars away from all the city lights. Total darkness. I promised her that we would just before her surgery for cervical spinal fusion. She wanted to look up at the stars one last time because it would've been months before she could do it again. Promise kept.
What would you do with $20,000?My wife is attending college and has a dream of becoming a mental health and substance abuse counselor. She is just a few months away from obtaining her associates degrees. The money would be put towards her education so she could earn her degrees and push toward a bachelor's degree. She has a passion for helping those who truly need it.
