When I was a child I was best friends with my wife's brother. When Marlene was 8 years old I felt a connection to her. It wasn't physical or sexual in any way as we were children but I felt it in my heart and soul. I told her on many occasions when we become adults her and I were going to get married. Her cheeks would turn red with embarrassment and run away and I would go about hanging out with her brother. I had no doubt in my heart that Marlene and I were life soulmates even as children

Marlene is the most beautiful, strongest woman in the world. One horrible morning she couldn't get out of bed. 3 days later (age of 38) Marlene was diagnosed with end stage terminal cancer and given 6 months to live. She had two horrific bone marrow transplants. Through her strength and love for her family, Marlene is fighting, determined to be the first person ever to defeat this horrible, incurable cancer. My wife is my hero and every day Marlene continues to survive is my favorite memory.

With Marlene's health condition we have begun to struggle financially. We have four beautiful children and I would save half the money for their educations and then donate the other half to the American Cancer Society to help find a cure for Multiple Myeloma (The terminal cancer my wife is battling).
