While in high school I fell in love with this girl that was in the “It Girls Club” and I was your average Joe that didn’t even make a blip on her radar. Well we graduated and never spoke. About 3yrs later I was serving in the USCG at Base Miami Beach I went on a blind double date with my friend Jorge. Well my blind double date was the girl that almost got away, my Jaki !! Four months later we were married, today 3 kids and 5 grandkids later we live in Tn going on 39yrs strong.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?OMG. 500 characters is nowhere near enough. See if I can give you a few, in 2011 I retired from Corrections. I opened up a thrift/gallery store in South Dade (Florida) it immediately took off and Jaki quit her job and we launched Neatful Things. We never worked so hard before but we didn’t feel like we were working, we had so much fun, we meet people in the auction world we would have never meet if it wasn’t for the store.
