On the beach we were with different friends. Joe approached me to borrow our backgammon game. Later my girlfriend and I invited him and another friend to go shining deer, which these city boys had never done. I had just returned to my brown natural hair color and pulled out my driver's license to show him. Right away he saw I was 12 yrs older. I thought he was at least 25, but was 19. We started dating, I was divorced with 10, 7 and 4 yr Olds. Moved in with us after 6 Mos. Married 2 yrs later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I won a sweepstake and we used the money to visit friends in Australia. Then scuba dived on a liveaboard 5 days on the Great barrier reef and a shark dive. Drove the great ocean rd. So many great experiences. Trip of a lifetime.
What would you do with $20,000?Joe was in a bad motorcycle accident, laid up for over a yr. Forced me to take my soc sec early at 62. Very little in 2010. He just now turned 65. So our income is minimal. It would be a good chunk to start a retirement investment for us. Giving us a big relief toward our future.
