Connect How did your love story begin?

At 12 he and a mutual friend saw me walking home from school. He told our mutual friend that oneday he was gonna marry me. But yet, I would not give him the time of day, he was always hanging around his sister and all her friends continually trying to pursue me, but I would not give him the time of day , I actually literally did not like him. At 15, he sister went away to jobcorp. He and I missed her so much we became close friends . Before you know it, we we're letting her know we were dating

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

During our days of dating, we would lay out at my house in the yard on the grass on a blanket and just make future plans together, and before you know it 38 years later two children , one grandson , a lifetime of adventures , and a lifetime to go.

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband is such a good hearted and wonderful person. He's a giver and never a taker. He enjoys being the person who gives and never letting you know it was him. Being a blessing to anyone and everyone all the time that I think this would help pursue his dreams of finishing up a couple of his rental properties so he can retire. He always say God has blessed him to be a blessing and he genuinely means that, he thinks he cannot afford to stop working as a cement contractor
