Connect How did your love story begin?

Cynthia was my date to a wedding where I was standing up for the groom. We had been friends before that day, but somehow, a celebration of someone else’s love became our first date. What started as a simple wedding date turned into the beginning of our own love story—and the start of a journey we’ve been blessed to share ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

With 26 years of marriage under our belt, it’s tough to choose just one favorite memory, especially with four beautiful children and a lifetime of adventures together. We’ve crossed the country on family road trips, ridden our motorcycle to the Sturgis Rally, and traveled throughout the Caribbean. But if I had to choose just one, it would have to be the day we said “I do.” All of those adventures, and everything we’ve built together, started with that one day.

What would you do with $20,000?

Time together as a couple and as a family is one of the greatest gifts we can give each other. With $20,000, I’d put it toward an unforgettable family trip to somewhere new and by creating new experiences, exploring together, and making memories we’ll still be talking about years from now. At this stage of life, the experiences we share are worth far more than anything we could buy.
