we started dating in october 1983 and got married in jan of 84. almost 43 years later. he is the love of my life. my best friend.

We started as friends as I had a boyfriend. I had just turned 18 and we went out a few times. We decided to get married 3 months later as he was set to go in the navy. Everyone said wait but I knew he was the one. Trust your heart. I'm glad we didn't wait. My father walked me down the aisle and passed away two weeks after we got married.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After my father died we left Memphis to go back home to south fla. Jim was suppose to go in the navy and got a leave to take care of getting us back home. The best time was having him meet all my family for the first time and sharing our wedding tape with them.
What would you do with $20,000?My goodness. I've always wanted to go on a cruise through Alaska. Never been to Montana. I would love a farm with animals everywhere and a garden. I wish I could save every animal out there. Every unwanted dog and cat. I love animals and have ten cats now. Lol. That's my dream
