We met on Mother's Day Sunday May 10th, 1976. She was with her friend I knew, we stopped to talk and I became smitten! I asked her out to a movie (drive-in) and she said yes! We saw Blazing Saddles which set the tone for the next 50 years! Needless to say, she was smitten by the "older" man (19) and I fell for the young (15 1/2) beautiful blonde lady! We hit it off right away. I had never felt like that before, but it sure felt good. Appears she liked me too!

Besides the births of our two boys and our wedding day, we would need to say as just a couple, our vacation to Colorado. Our vacations and weekend get aways are great memories. Door County, Upper peninsula in Michigan, Memphis and Nashville, Cabo San Lucas, and the Smokey Mountains! One very special moment was when I asked Maggie's father for permission to marry her. As a family we would say Disney World and Niagara Falls. But as you know, you really can't pick just one event. Too hard!

We would take a vacation out west, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and other national parks. We would also use it to restore our 1950 Studebaker Commander car and go cruising to the local car shows and Studebaker meets! We want to see more of the natural wonders God has made for us here in the U.S. It will be very cool and lots of fun cruising in the Studebaker on Route 66 and get to know a lot of people with the same interests!
