It started at a ballroom class. Neither of us was looking to date, but we hit it off. Our first date was a New Year's Eve party. We danced, laughed and rang in the new year. Everyone else had gone into the other room to watch the ball drop, but we stayed on the dance floor alone. It's still like that - the world disappears and it's just us. There is just this chemistry and ease between us.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?New Year's Eve that first year. We both were so nervous, but I had brought Prosecco grapes for the 12 grapes at midnight. Jim fed them to me after our first kiss and that was so special! But to be honest our trip to Paris and Jim proposing on the second Eiffel Tower while it lit up and sparkled sort of wins hands down.
What would you do with $20,000?That's a hard one, but probably put it towards more dancing and travel and making memories. When you meet your best friend who turns out to be the love of your life you do all you can to keep grasping for the brass ring on the merry go round.
