Like many great love stories, ours started with a little reluctance and a lot of luck. Four years ago, my girlfriend convinced me to attend a dating event in downtown Tampa. To be honest, I didn’t want to go. But sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them. Jim was the very first person I spoke to that evening and we instantly connected over our shared love of hockey—both playing and watching the game.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?This is a hard question because, in just four years, we’ve already created so many incredible memories together. We’ve traveled to Ireland, Greece, Alaska, the Caribbean, and many other places, sharing adventures we’ll never forget. We’ve spent countless hours playing and watching hockey, and some of our best moments have simply been spending time with our two dogs. What makes these memories so special isn’t necessarily where we are or what we’re doing—it’s that we’re doing it together.
What would you do with $20,000?Because of our active lifestyle, we would use the $20,000 towards a boat or jet skis so we could spend time together out on the water! We would also probably go to a hockey game or two. 😆
