We met at a singles group 'Newbie Night' that neither of us knew what we were doing. First date was a trifecta of a kickball tournament, a 90-minute hike and dinner at a brewery. Second date was hide and go seek at an arcade, bowling and pizza. And the fun and love continued from there.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is when we did a 5 mile nighttime trail run when we were only dating 5 weeks. We had headlamps and cold weather gear and our competitive spirit. We ran through the dark woods talking as if we were old friends. Had a post-race beer and then stopped at the smallest Pizza Hut on the way home to grab carbs because that was the only thing open. While waiting we sat there and laughed at the crane machine and how dirty we are. He still is promising me that pink bear.
What would you do with $20,000?We would donate some to ALS (for his mom) and some to Breast Cancer (my mom) and the rest we would try to see as much dirt as we could hiking and camping. Create as many moments together as we continue to rise in love!
