We met by chance in midlife and have traveled the country together from restart to retirement.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jessie and Sanford in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We both returned to our "hometown" to restart our lives. Neither of us had a car so we rode public transportation. I sat at the front; Sanford sat at the back. We got off at the same bus stop and went opposite ways to our jobs. He started sitting closer and closer to the front until he was right behind me and we started talking.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our traveling experiences, especially when we see a place we've been on a TV show or commercial. We like to say to each other "we've been there" and then laugh and reminisce.
What would you do with $20,000?We'd love to travel abroad. I especially would like to visit my ancestral areas in the UK, Scandinavia, and Europe. Also, I have one more state to visit to reach all 50 and Sanford has 2 states left. I wouldn't mind revisiting Hawaii after all.
