Our story began at a bar in Huntington Beach when Josh noticed Jessica wasn't exactly thrilled about dancing with a guy in a Gumby shirt and stepped in. Jessica gave him a fake name, chugged her drink before he got his, and somehow still convinced him to ask for her number. After she ghosted him, we ran into each other at the same bar the very next weekend. Thirteen years later, we're married, raising four amazing kids, and still laughing about how it all started.

Out of all the memories we've shared, the one we'll always treasure most is the day Jessica's boys asked Josh if they could call him "Dad." It caught both of us completely by surprise. From that day on, every "Look, Dad!" and "Did you see that, Dad?" reminded us that it wasn't just a word. It was the moment we truly became a family.
