We met at work for weeks. We had talked a few times, and he has said that's the girl I'm going to marry. One day, he bought me a Snickers and a Mt. Dew and asked me to dinner while at this fancy restaurant. I said, “Let’s go have fun and dance.” Our date lasted 3 days. He paid $500 a night for this beautiful hotel downtown, and every day was like a new adventure: some fancy dinner, movies, and exploring places I had never been. I moved in with him. He is the best husband, father, and friend.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our best memory is the children we have raised and are continuing to raise. He adopted my two previous children, and he has been there. We have a daughter with Down syndrome who has a lot of medical issues, and we have always made the best of any situation because we have one another.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off our daughter with Down syndrome’s medical bills so that we can finally buy our first home because we have had to sacrifice things to make sure she has had everything she needs to be healthy so we would actually be able to buy a home to continue making memories and have a safe space for our babies, and that would be what we would do.
