Connect How did your love story begin?

Jeremy and I met shortly after I lost my husband to suicide. I was pregnant with my late husband’s daughter and I had two young boys when we met. Being newly widowed and pregnant I was carrying so much Jeremy stepped into our lives and never left. He carried us through deep grief and has cared for each of my children as his own. These experiences built such a meaningful bond between us and now we have a beautiful family of 8!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is from when we first started dating. My car had broken down on the way to his house. The car was still brand new to me, and I was already stressed about it. To make matters worse, I convinced myself I was somehow locked inside and couldn’t get out. I called Jeremy nearly in tears because I had no idea what to do. When he got there, he walked up to the car, pulled the door handle, and it opened immediately. It was that simple. I felt ridiculous, and he laughed so hard

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won the $20,000 we would use it to help cover start up costs for Jeremy and our son Parker’s fidget company! Our son Parker has autism and a few months ago they began bonding over creating sensory toys and fidgets with our 3D printer. This is a huge passion project for them both and all the funds help provide Parker with all of his necessary resources for his disability.
