We both showed up to a group event in NYC. He made me laugh from across the room, and we didn't talk to anyone else for the rest of the night. I was only in town for the weekend, but after a month of countless marathon phone calls that kept us up until dawn, he told me he was going to marry me. I told him he was crazy, but I knew it was true. Twenty-one years later, we still stay up for hours just talking, laughing, and loving each other. We were instant best friends and we still are today.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After 13 years of trying, we were told we would never be able to conceive a child. We made a choice right then to make the most of our life together. So we booked one-way tickets to Thailand and began a year-long world travel journey. Just 3 months after we got back to NYC, we got pregnant. We feel so much gratitude that we don't have a single favorite memory. We've had a lifetime of favorites, first as a couple on a never-ending adventure, and now as a family, with our daughter by our side.
What would you do with $20,000?Our dream has been to start a business that we can run as a family, and pass down to our daughter if she wants to continue it on. Winning $20,000 would allow us to invest into launching that dream and we would be so excited to finally get to watch it become a reality!
