Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story came full circle. I attended my husband's mom's daycare as a child. Years later, while searching for childcare for my daughter, I returned to that same daycare—where he was now the director. I wasn't looking for love, but he was persistent, and I finally agreed to a movie date. We were inseparable from that night, moved in together a month later, and soon found out we were expecting twins. 14 years and 5 kids later, here we are—still choosing each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory wasn’t a vacation or a fancy date—it was realizing we could make it through anything together. Between delayed home closings, job changes, and unexpected challenges, we’ve leaned on each other every step of the way. Every obstacle has brought us closer, and knowing we’re building our forever home together has made the journey unforgettable.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 would help us finally have the wedding we never got. We eloped at the courthouse with only my mom as my maid of honor and his best friend as his best man. We'd also launch our dream gaming business, take our four kids to Japan to celebrate their graduations, and pay off debt so we can build generational wealth for our family.
