We met as her best friend was crazy about my roommate! This gorgeous (completely out of my league) girl walks up to me at work one night and asked if I was Jeff. I would have answered to anything at that moment! She introduced herself and we joked about our friends and their "relationship". Who knew about the one to come?
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We live in a modest home and drive used cars because we made a decision early that we would prioritize memories over "things". We could name dozens of memories over the last 24 years that we will never forget, but the reception party was truly the best night of our lives. Seeing our families so happy together is the greatest gift we could ever be given, especially since the beginning of our relationship had to make it through the tragic loss of her mother just a few months after WE began.
What would you do with $20,000?Of course we would use it to make more memories! Our 25th is coming next October and I want to take her on a fantastic anniversary trip! She has always dreamed of visiting Europe. I could not think of a better way to celebrate 25 years than with my best friend seeing the beauty of the land from where our families came.
