Our love story began in Upward Bound when I was 12 and he quietly admired me from afar. Years later, we reconnected at an awards dinner, and one conversation changed everything. Through life's ups and downs, we've built a beautiful life together. Now, after 26 years together, 14 years of marriage, and 4 amazing children, we're still choosing each other every day.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We've shared so many special memories our wedding, raising our four children, and countless moments together. But one of my favorites was taking him to Disney for the first time when he was 19. He had never been, and seeing his excitement and joy made the experience unforgettable. I still can't wait for the day were I can take him on his first cruise someday. Life has been busy, but we'll get there.
What would you do with $20,000?As I mentioned earlier, finances haven't always been easy for us. While we've enjoyed some road trips and visits to Orlando, living in Miami has made it difficult to buy a home or reliable vehicles. I love to cook, so with $20,000, I would invest in a cloud kitchen business and pay down debt. My hope is to create a better future for our family, with more financial stability, quality family time, opportunities to travel, and be able to give back one day to the community.
