Our story began just before COVID-19. We were newly dating when the world shut down, and despite the uncertainty, we took a leap of faith and moved in together. Spending lockdown 24/7 fast-tracked our bond, allowing us to truly know and fall for each other. That intense, unique beginning sparked a shared craving for adventure, laying the foundation for us to leave rent behind, travel to 15+ countries, and spend the next four years house-sitting the globe together.

My favorite memory is where it all began: a surprise Valentine’s Day trip to Puerto Rico. Just three days after the holiday, Jaylin surprised me with a week-and-a-half getaway. It was our very first trip together, and it completely set the course for our future. That beautiful island sparked our passion for travel, leading us to 14 more countries since. It’s my best memory because it marks the exact moment our journey started and we stepped onto the path toward our shared future.

I’d surprise Jaylin with a trip back to Puerto Rico to celebrate where our spark first began, honoring how far our love has brought us. The rest would fund our future. We’d look into buying land or getting an RV to anchor our nomadic lifestyle, and deeply invest in the businesses we’ve built together since the start of our relationship. This money wouldn't just be a prize—it would be the ultimate launchpad for the next chapter of our shared dreams and personal growth.
