How did your love story begin?

We were two college students in Lexington, Kentucky, both figuring out life on our own. We'd seen each other around campus but never said a word. Everything changed when Mahala hearted one of his stories online, sparking a conversation neither of us expected. From there, things took off. We found every excuse to spend hours talking and walking across campus together. The zing between us was too strong and undeniable despite us both trying not to fall deeply as first. We became our safe space ❤️

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory was visiting my hometown of Danville, Kentucky. We walked through the lit-up town square, shared a wonderful dinner, and by chance watched Otega Oweh hit the game-winning three for Kentucky. Seeing his excitement made me fall even deeper in love, and he said he got to see a new side of me too. To make the day even more unforgettable, that was the night he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Simple but special❤️ ~Hala

What would you do with $20,000?

We'd use the $20,000 to build the foundation for our future together. Most of it would be saved for our wedding, our first home, and the children we hope to have one day. We'd also donate a portion to pay kindness forward, because we've been blessed by others' generosity and want to help another family the way this opportunity could help ours.❤️
