What makes us a great couple is always wanting to be together. We have been married 44 years, and are each other’s best friend.

Our love story began in 6th grade. Jay sat behind me in class. One day he passed me a note that read, “Will you go steady with me?” On that day, I just wanted to be friends, but friends we were, all through middle and high school. I even attended his Bar Mitzvah. We lost touch through college, but one day a colleague of mine went to a singles weekend and sat at Jay’s table. She found out he was a friend of mine, and got his phone #. Excitedly I called Jay, and the rest was history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory was our wedding. Having lost my parents at 15 and 19, I wanted to have a beautiful wedding. We had a dream wedding. Having spent every penny we had on the wedding, the wedding was more than we could have wished for.
What would you do with $20,000?If we were lucky enough to win $20,000, we would take a trip in which the memories could last a lifetime. It would be a trip to Hawaii. Two of our children honeymooned there, and it looked so romantic. Unfortunately, we were only able to go to the Poconos for 2 days for our honeymoon as we spent the money we had on our beautiful wedding. To add insult to injury, my school district docked me the pay for the 2 days. A trip to Hawaii would be a dream come true!
