How did your love story begin?

We met in chemistry class in college! 4 months later, we eloped and never looked back. We've been married for 15 years this year. We've had 7 kids, including our first son who was stillborn, another son with severe medical conditions, and another son who we fostered and adopted. Through all the difficulties, we've stayed committed to each other, communicated with each other, and trusted each other. We've got six living, dynamic, amazing kids (14f, 11f, 9m, 6m, 2m, 2m), and a life full of love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In 2022, we took our 4 kids on a road trip around the country for 3.5 weeks. We hit 17 states, swam in 4 different bodies of water, camped out at 2 different state parks, and had tons of first time experiences as a family. Our best time as a couple is when we're having experiences as a whole family. The foundation of our commitment and love for each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

Because we eloped as a couple broke college kids, and our first baby was born before our first anniversary, we never got to have a real honeymoon. We've loved the travel we've been able to do with our kids, but we have dreams of being able to go to Italy together and eat across the country. We share a love of cuisine, and would love to have a honeymoon and adventure together exploring it in Italy!
