Connect How did your love story begin?

Jason is a spraypaint artist. He sold his art in local marketplace groups. I saw his art & was amazed, being a self taught artist myself I enjoyed & appreciated his works. Started following his art page. Eventually he ended up asking me out for a date through messages. Took me several days to respond. Was the best & last first date ever for us both. It lasted 6 wonderful hours. We had so much in common including bucket list items. We've been inseparable ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I think my favorite memories have to be the travel adventures we have been on and our art collaborations we have done together through the years. Jason actually helped pull me out of about a 15 year span where I no longer created art. He got me back into doing art. I have a brain disease IIH requiring a shunt. I've had 38 spine/brain shunt surgeries since 2006. Jason was diagnosed in December w aneurysms & got stents. He had multiple strokes due to arterial tears. We are holding each other up.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would go on some road trips, as we have not been able to travel due to health & me needing 7 shunt revisions in 2021. That was a tough recovery. Jason was by my side every step. I aquired post op spine & brain sepsis. He never wavered. Even at 2am when I woke him w a fever of 104° w spinal fluid leaking out of my spine incision. He rushed me the 2+ hours to my neurosurgeon & saved my life. He is my Superman. 💙❤️
