I had had a really difficult life and after getting divorced from my first wife, I got in trouble and was locked in addiction and wound up in prison. Once I’ve gotten out of prison, I met my wife on a dating website and we fell in love and from there, Jesus used her to dramatically help change my life and now I’m currently a pastor for the Assemblies of God in Sterling, Kansas, and we have a beautiful blended and blessed family. Our story is about true love and redemption, and leaning on Jesus.

My birthday was on June 18 and for the first time in 10 years we’ve been together my wife designed a perfect weekend getaway to Wichita Kansas. Where she had planned for us to go take a walk down through the Riverwalk and sit by the river and watch the (statue) keeper of the plains Light up its torches in the dark. She had also made dinner reservations and reserved a wonderful hotel room on the eighth floor overlooking the city. And the next day went to the Wichita zoo which was just amazing.

I believe that we would use it to better structure and strengthen our church that is growing. There are many things that need to be upgraded, and this would be such a blessing to modernized our churches equipment. It would be one of the most life-changing things for this church that I love so much.
