Love. Our love for each other, our love for our children. Military deployments, or adverse events, love keeps us strong, and makes us great
We would like to thank you for supporting Jane and Dan in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I was on temporary duty in Hawaii, Jane was there for a work conference and we accidentally ran into each other in the lobby of the hotel. I knocked her down and felt horrible so I asked her to dinner. Jane returned to Wisconsin and we continued to call and write each other. She flew back to Hawaii again and we just knew that we were meant for each other. I proposed during my retirement ceremony from the Air Force.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Spending two weeks together in a cabin by a lake after my return from my deployment to Iraq. It provided both of us an opportunity to finally relax, get reacquainted with each other and plan for our future.
What would you do with $20,000?We just moved from Florida to Wisconsin, so a portion of the money would go towards moving costs, and home repairs. We would also arrange a trip for our children, (we have 7 kids and are a blended family), so we could all be together one more time. And the remainder of the money would be set aside for emergencies.
