We met in 1971 and dated 6 months. I knew he was the one when he played the piano for me. We have been married since November 1971.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jan Pozzi in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in 1971 at a neighborhood bar. He asked me to dance. We dated every Wednesday and Saturday nights for 3 weeks He stopped calling me and I was very unhappy. We didn’t see each other for several months. We ran into each other and he asked me to a wedding. After that we dated a lot. I told him that I interviewed for American Airlines and would be leaving town. That’s when he asked me to Marry him. When he played the piano I was smitten. The Greig concerto won me over.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our trips to Chicago with our friends was fabulous. We road in a horse and buggy down Michigan avenue at Christmas time and had champagne and sang Christmas carols. Very good memories.
What would you do with $20,000?Maybe take a trip. We haven’t traveled very much and that is what I regret fit all of these years. We’re getting older and can’t travel too much. This week we are in DelRay beach Florida for a short getaway. We would love to go to Italy. Every day is a gift.
