We met at work. I was going through a lot of legal issues, so I wasn’t paying much attention. But I came in to clock in and there she was. Waiting to start her first day. She waited for me for 6 months until I got my daughter back and divorce was complete. She helped me raise my baby and I helped her raise hers. Her son is my son. I adore him to no end. My daughter is hers too. We got married 6 years later after the supreme court’s made same sex marriage legal. We have loved life together.
