Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in Las Vegas, Nevada, through her cousin, who happened to be my best friend. He brought us to a casino so he could place his football bets. While we waited for him, we sat at a bar and put some money into a machine. Together, we hit a four-of-a-kind and joked that we must be lucky. We started as friends, but love came fast. The crazy part is that we never really dated—we just met, connected, and started our life together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Really? There are so many. Jamaica, Disneyland, trips to Miami, California vacations—we've been blessed with countless wonderful memories together. But if we had to choose just one, it would be having our daughter and completing our girl trifecta. Watching our girls grow into amazing adults has been our greatest memory and our greatest victory. We loved being parents, and now we're blessed with an even better title: grandparents. Nothing compares to that.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, we've lived frugally for many years. Since my wife was diagnosed with MS, we've always been careful not to stretch ourselves too thin financially because we never knew what challenges might be ahead. We've learned to save for the things we want and plan for the future. If we won $20,000, it would go toward purchasing the land we've been saving for. We already have money set aside, and this would be a huge blessing that would bring us much closer to that goal.
