We met during COVID. I said in my profile that I was looking for someone to spend the end of the world with and I found him. We love us.
We would like to thank you for supporting James and Arabya in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our love story began after another ended. We both had broken up with our respective partners during COVID and found ourselves on Tinder. I didn't ever think I'd find love again, and James went in to find forever, and by a miracle in Heaven, we found each other. We lived about 30 miles from each other and had a 15-mile radius for both our accounts, so we always say it was a miracle we found each other. My caption read "trying to find someone to spend the end of the world with." And we did.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory to date is our wedding day. That day changed everything for us. The moment we said "I do" changed everything for us. We both ran from the pedestal holding hands, saying does it feel different for you? Yes, it feels different for me as well. We left with all the gravity we've ever needed after we said "I do," we were no longer I, we were we. All the planning, all the money, all the fights, all the love, surmounted into happily ever after in one moment, and it was shared as one.
What would you do with $20,000?We just bought our first house together, and we are extremely house poor now. Thankful but house poor. We would take the money and invest it in our house. Right now, we are living in the Tom Hanks movie, Money Pitt.
