Our love story started when we were kids, we just didn’t know it. We met through the fence at Osborne school, from then our paths continued crossing, even though life took us in different directions. When we were both single & ready to date again, I wrote my phone number on a dollar bill I thought he would spend… this led to Jake taking me to his family reunion for our very 1st date. 23 years later, he still has the same dollar bill that would end up being the best investment I would ever make.

It’s hard to describe one core memory, when we have made so many. Some of our best memories are the rare times we sneak away alone to our favorite place on the water, catching a sunset on the boat or fishing together, just as we did when we were kids. Other great memories include vacationing together as a family, we love being with our kids! We also enjoy impromptu day trips with our daughter & son hunting for mushrooms, fishing on the Sandusky Bay or creek stomping in our favorite place.

We would donate a portion of the money to an anti-human trafficking organization. We would use the remainder money to take a family trip to Hawaii, which has been a dream of ours for many years. We would like to take a once in a lifetime trip together as a family while our kids have flexibility in their lives to vacation with us. If we are chosen we want to role model to our kids the importance of giving back and investing in what matters most… making core memories together as a family.
